Completely unique bowl plates using foraged hawthorn from in my local landscape.
Slab made with seasonal plant decoration using a white speckle stoneware, pressed in plants and glazed.

Protecting the Hawthorn is very imporant, as it is belived that they live in the protection of the fairies. Standing at the threshold to the Otherworld.
Medicinal
Hawthorn has been used traditionally for the heart, easing heart break and cardiovascular disorders.

April - June
With the peak blooming period being in May, but the leaves unfirl in March but the haw berries go on until October.
